In this fairly realistic painting a woman's face is lit from the bottom by red orange light and lit from the top by pale blue light. The woman's eye glows orange and she stares at the viewer with a fearful-surprised expression. The woman has curly hair and a light skin-tone. The right half of her face is not on the canvas.
